This 2 L butterfly-valve spout pouch is built for liquid packaging that calls for a carry handle, a valve and a double-gusset base, including BIB bag-in-box formats. The 2 L fill sits between personal drinking and household sharing, so a filled pouch stays manageable to lift by hand; after the first pour, the butterfly valve can be reopened and closed for portioned dispensing.
The pouch body is made from a four-layer PET+AL+PA+PE laminate. The PET outer layer provides stiffness and a print surface, the AL foil layer blocks light and oxygen, PA improves flex and puncture resistance, and the PE inner layer contacts the liquid and forms the heat seal. With foil in the construction, barrier protection does not rely on film thickness alone.
