For packaging lines that require stronger protection than a clear laminate can offer, this roll film incorporates an aluminum foil layer or a metallized barrier layer into the laminate. It is engineered to block oxygen, moisture and light, helping sensitive contents remain stable in storage and extending their usable life.
The laminate can be built from PET, AL (or VMPET), PA and PE, with the foil or metallized layer providing the barrier, PA adding toughness, and PE forming the heat-seal surface. Gauge commonly runs from 6 to 12 silk. The web is slit to match your machine, and printing is available in 1–8 colors.
Typical uses include coffee, tea, nuts, powdered beverages and pharmaceutical excipients — products that need protection from light, moisture and oxygen. Metallized and pure aluminum options can be selected according to shelf-life requirements; pricing is quoted by specification.
