This capped stand-up spout pouch is designed for portioning and packing food liquids, including cream, jam and tomato ketchup. Its stand-up base keeps a filled pouch upright on shelves or worktops, while the top spout and cap allow sauce to be squeezed out in controlled amounts. In both commercial kitchens and homes, it removes the need to repeatedly spoon sauce from a large jar.

The pouch body is made from a laminate, typically combining a print layer, a barrier layer and a heat-seal layer; the inner layer is the one in direct contact with the sauce. For acidic fillings such as tomato ketchup, the material combination must be selected for compatibility. The barrier layer helps slow oxidation that can affect a sauce’s colour and flavour. The weld between the shoulder and the spout is a critical seal point during pouch formation.

Available capacities run from 1–1000 ml, printing can be 1–8 colours, and the MOQ is 10,000 pcs. Customisation can cover pouch dimensions, spout and cap style, material structure and full artwork. Because sauces are often viscous, the spout type and pouch proportions are commonly adjusted to match the filling.
