Kody Packaging's red wine bag-in-box line is engineered around 23 L and 5 L formats. It pairs a light-blocking, sealed flexible pouch with a liquid valve, serving as both a red wine portioning bag and a convenient wine dispenser. Available volumes span 1–200 L, artwork can be printed in 1–8 colours, and the minimum order is 10,000 pcs.
Materials can be combined from transparent, metallized and pure aluminium options. The metallized film handles light blocking, the pure aluminium layer reinforces barrier performance, and the transparent section provides a window for checking fill level. Dispensing is governed by the valve at the spout; as the level drops, the pouch collapses naturally, keeping the wine-to-air contact area small. The valve-to-spout joint is created in a single bag-making step, so the seal remains intact after repeated opening and closing.
Printing covers 1–8 colours, allowing wine labels, appellation details and vintage information to be placed on the artwork. Valves and peripheral components can be selected around the dispensing method, including butterfly valves, pointed spouts, tap valves, oil valves and cartons. With a 10,000 pcs MOQ, the format suits series packaging for wine brands; the outer carton can also carry winery information to align with the pouch design.
Red wine is the primary content, while the pouch also accommodates other liquids that require light-blocked storage, such as fruit wine, flavoured wine and concentrated juice. When wine is intended for long-term storage, a material structure with stronger light blocking and barrier properties is available.
Manufactured by Kody Packaging in Dongguan, Guangdong, the item can be sampled against a customer's reference pouch. The sampling stage also checks the dispenser's dispensing height so the outlet is comfortable to use. Once capacity, valve model and print layout are approved, production begins, and pricing follows the specification confirmed on the sample.
