This butterfly-valve bag-in-box works as the flexible inner liner inside a carton for shipping and short-term holding. Once filled, it presses against the carton walls, helping limit sloshing and movement on the road.

The pouch wall combines metallized film, pure aluminium film and transparent film. Together, the aluminium and metallized layers create a barrier against light, oxygen and moisture, while the clear portion allows a visual check of the liquid level. The valve seat is heat-sealed onto the bag, and the outlet remains shut during shipment.

Printing is available in 1–8 colours and can be laid out to a wine merchant artwork. Capacities range from 1 L to 200 L, so different fill volumes can be matched to transport or decanting needs.
