1–20 L Metallized Bag-in-Box with Butterfly Valve and Screw Cap for Coffee and Liquid Egg

This BIB format pairs a flexible pouch with a corrugated carton. A screw cap and butterfly valve are integrated at the top of the pouch; after filling and sealing, the pouch folds into the box. The carton provides rigidity and stacking support, while the film delivers sealing and barrier performance. It is suited to mid-volume circulation of liquids such as coffee concentrate and liquid egg, where oxygen and light exposure need to be controlled.

The pouch can follow two material routes. Metallized film (VMPET) uses a thin vacuum-deposited metal layer on a polyester base, balancing light blocking against cost. Pure aluminium foil (AL) is heavier and gives a fuller barrier against oxygen and water vapour. Both routes are typically laminated with a polyethylene inner layer for heat sealing and direct product contact, while the outer layer carries printing and resists abrasion. The weld between the valve seat and the pouch is the critical step that determines leak resistance.

Capacities range from 1–20 L, so pouch dimensions can be matched to the filling volume. Printing is available in 1–8 colours, covering full-coverage backgrounds, spot-colour graphics or a clean layout with open space. Valves and cartons are supplied as accessories; valve bore and dispensing method can be agreed around the filling line interface. The MOQ is 10,000 pcs, and pouch style, artwork and size are all customised to order.

In addition to coffee concentrate and liquid egg, the same construction is used for juice drinks, milk, sauces and red wine. Terms such as BIB bags, bag-in-box, valve bags and liquid pouches commonly refer to this family of valved flexible pouches.

Production is handled by Kody Packaging in Dongguan, Guangdong. Lamination, slitting, pouch making, valve welding and outgoing inspection are completed in-house. Samples can be approved from a customer drawing or reference bag before volume production.
