For farms filling bovine colostrum or calf colostrum on site, this 4 kg aluminium foil spout pouch is built around a stand-up format. A bottom gusset lets the filled pouch stand on a chiller shelf or worktop without a rack, and the spout dispenses liquid before the cap is closed again for continued sealed storage. That makes portion-based colostrum inventory easier to manage.

Load bearing sits mainly on the base gusset and side seals, so the laminate must deliver greater stiffness and heat-seal strength than a standard flat pouch. Pure aluminium foil or metallized film can serve as the barrier layer; the inner heat-seal layer is the food-contact surface for dairy, while the outer layer carries artwork and identification. Spout welding and the top seal should be checked batch by batch before filling.

The pouch range covers 1–10 L, and 4 kg reflects the fill weight of this version. Printing supports 1–8 colours, with artwork space reserved for handwritten dates and animal numbers.
